BASA
Broken Arrow Strings Academy
BASA is an extra opportunity for middle school students to learn from all of the Broken Arrow directors and be mentored by members of the high school orchestra. BASA generally meets once a week for rehearsals and has as performance at the end of each semester. Talk to your middle school director for more information about joining, or call Mrs. Ricard at 918-259-4310.
BASA will meet in the BA Freshman Academy band room from 6:00-7:30pm on 8/28, 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, and 11/6.
The BASA concert will be on November 7, 2023 at the BA Performing Arts Center at 7:00pm (students will need to arrive earlier to tune and warm up).
Students are responsible for bringing their instruments, music, and other necessary supplies to each rehearsal. BAA will be directed by Kim Ricard and assisted by members of the High School Chamber Orchestra.
