After completing Music degrees at Indiana,

Mr. Samuelson came to Tulsa in 1987 where

he joined the Philharmonic as a violinist.  In

2002, he began work with Tulsa Schools

developing elementary orchestra programs. 

It was during these years that he discovered

a  passion for nurturing the musicianship of

young students.  In 2015, he was delighted to

be hired by Broken Arrow to become the orchestra teacher at Centennial Middle School because, teaching the same students each day, he could help them attain higher levels of skill.  Mr. Samuelson continues to perform regularly with the Signature and Tulsa Symphony Orchestras.
