Kimberly Ricard has taught orchestra for Broken Arrow Public Schools for thirty-six years. She has taught from middle school through high school orchestra classes, as well as AP music theory and private lessons. During this time period the orchestra has grown and has received many superior ratings, sweepstakes awards and other honors including being an OkMEA honor group and performing at Carnegie Hall. Many of her students have participated in state and national programs. More importantly students have a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
Broken Arrow High School Orchestra
​​The high school orchestra program is dedicated to the development of musical excellence and leaders of the future. The senior high has two orchestra classes, symphony orchestra and chamber orchestra. The symphony orchestra is made up of string players in the 10th-12th grades. Chamber orchestra is an audition only class comprised of 10th-12th grade students.
Freshman Academy Orchestra

The freshman academy also has two orchestra classes, string orchestra and concert orchestra. String orchestra focuses on the development of more advanced technique along with balance of sound. Concert orchestra begins to refine the advanced technique while increasing the level of repertoire. It is also an audition only class.
